India: Massive destruction by landslides in Kerala, 93 people killed.

93 people were killed, more than 100 were injured and many went missing in landslide incidents in India.

According to Indian media, due to heavy rains in the Indian state of Kerala, many houses were hit by landslides in Wayanad district.

It has been mentioned in the media reports that hundreds of people are feared to be trapped due to landslides while many people are still missing.

According to reports, 93 people have been confirmed dead while 116 people have been injured in 3 different incidents of rain and landslides.

In this regard, the Indian officials expressed concern and said that many people have been swept away in the Chaliyar river in Nilambur, while many houses, shops and vehicles have been buried under the debris in Mandakai.

According to media reports, relief operations are facing difficulties due to the washed away bridge in Mandakai, due to which Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has directed to help the people by constructing a temporary bridge.

Apart from this, Chief Minister Rai Vijayan says that the help of the army will also be taken to rescue people by helicopter in Mandakai.
