After the attack on the Israeli installations in the occupied Golan, Israel carried out a drone attack near the southern region of Lebanon. As a result of the attack, 2 people were killed and 3 were injured.

According to Arab media, the Lebanese Civil Defense says that 2 people were killed and 3 people, including a child, were injured as a result of an Israeli drone attack in the southern region of Lebanon.

According to Arab media, the Lebanese rescue team did not clarify whether those killed in the Israeli attack were Lebanese resistance fighters or civilians.

In view of the escalation of tensions between Hezbollah and Israel, Saudi Arabia ordered its citizens to leave Lebanon immediately.

On the other hand, the Israeli military claimed that the Israeli Air Defense has shot down a drone entering the West Galilee region of Israel from Lebanon.

Meanwhile, blaming Hezbollah for the attack on the occupied Golan, the statement from the White House said that the US fully supports the security of Israel.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken said that he does not want to see an increase in tensions on Israel's northern border, but strongly supports the right to defend its citizens and will ensure that Israel can defend its citizens.

Speaking at a news conference in Tokyo on Sunday, Blanken said that it is clear that we do not want to see an escalation of tensions in any way, nor do we want this war to spread in the region.

Rejecting the possibility of an open war after the attack in the occupied Golan, the US said that it is possible that Israel may take action in response to the attack, but they are in contact with the Israeli and Lebanese authorities to keep the situation under control. Defense Minister Lloyd Austin and US Army Chief have also spoken to their Israeli counterpart.

It should be noted that 12 Israelis were killed in an explosion in the occupied Golan 2 days ago. Israel and the United States blamed Hezbollah for the attack, but Hezbollah rejected the allegations of involvement in the explosion.

Later, Hezbollah and Lebanon also demanded an international investigation into the Golan attack.

In view of the tense situation in the region after the attack, the Secretary General of the United Nations also appealed to the parties to show restraint.
