The Israeli ambassador said that Israel will defend itself, respond with force to those who harm.

At the Security Council meeting, China's Ambassador Fu Kong said that the failure of the Gaza ceasefire is the cause of tension in the region.

British Ambassador Barbara Woodwards said that Israel and Palestine should make renewed efforts for peace.

In the meeting of the Security Council, the US Deputy Ambassador Robert Wood said that influential countries should pressure Iran to reduce tensions.

Deputy Japanese Ambassador Shino Mitsuko said that the Middle East has reached the brink of war.
