Asia-Pacific: China warned the world powers

The Chinese president warned rival powers against interference in the Asia Pacific.

The summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation begins tomorrow. Ahead of the meeting, the Chinese president has warned that the Asia-Pacific is not competitive against major powers.

He said that Asia Pacific is not abandoned and will not allow it to become anyone's field, no one will be allowed to try to start a new cold war.

He said that both the geopolitical tensions and emerging economic situation have adversely affected the development environment and cooperation structure of the Asia-Pacific.

In the face of these challenges, Xi Jinping has urged countries to build "stable and seamless" supply chains to enhance connectivity, promote inclusive development, and safeguard the movement of goods and services.
