5 people including 2 security personnel were killed and 10 injured in the firing in the Khuzestan province of Iran.

According to Iranian media, the terrorist attack took place in the market of Iza city in the southwestern province of Khuzestan, adjacent to the border with Iraq, where two motorcyclists opened fire on people in the market.

According to the Iranian authorities, 5 people, including a woman and a child, were killed, including 2 personnel of the Iranian Basij militia force.

It should be noted that Khuzestan is mostly inhabited by the people of the Iranian Arab minority community, the people of Khuzestan have also been involved in the recent anti-government protests in Iran.
