In Pakistan, the media regulatory authority PEMRA has suspended the broadcasting of ARY and Bol News for three days.
According to PEMRA, the reason for this move is that the channels are not broadcasting under the delay system.
According to PEMRA, all channels were banned from live broadcasting of public events.
According to the PEMRA notification, both channels have continuously violated the PEMRA rules, and therefore they were issued show cause notices, however, the chief executives of these channels were unable to appear before the authority despite being personally summoned and only a Written response was submitted.
